WHY COZUMEL?

There always has to be a 'first' for everything, so we chose the port of Cozumel as our first destination as its one of the busiest in the world (and for good reason!). Cozumel is filled with a variety of activities that will most certainly make your cruise to the Caribbean memorable. Chances are if you cruise often you may have already found yourself in Cozumel at least once. The great thing about this port is there are multiple different flavors of things to see. Whether you're into snorkeling, ATV excursions, or with a visit to ancient Mayan ruins, Cozumel has something for everyone.

SNORKELING

Cozumel is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, making it a snorkeling paradise. It's also an activity that can be well suited for groups and families as it is quite inexpensive while offering an incredible experience. Oftentimes you can find snorkeling excursions for under $60 that are top rated by cruisers. Our Cozumel Port Page features a few of the highlights From the colorful reefs to the diverse sea creatures, snorkeling here is an unforgettable experience. Make sure to bring your underwater camera or a protector for you phone!

ADVENTURE & OFF-ROADING

If you are seeking a bit of adrenaline, ATV and off-roading excursions are the way to go. You can explore the rugged terrains of Cozumel, traverse through the jungles landscapes, and experience the natural beauty of the island in a thrilling way.

A VISIT TO THE SAN GERVASIO MAYAN RUINS:

Explore the ancient Mayan ruins of San Gervasio a sacred site dedicated to the goddess Ix Chel, known for its well-preserved structures and rich historical significance. Choosing this excursion allows visitors to delve into Mayan culture, witness impressive architecture, and enjoy a unique educational experience amidst the beauty of Cozumel's natural surroundings.

LOOKING AHEAD:

While we recognize that there are many more ports around the globe to start curating, we want to save this moment as one of the first milestones we have set up within our travel blog.
